Australian Made

Polyslab prides itself immensely on being 100% Australian owned and Made. Being apart of the Australian Made Campaign is apart of Polyslabs commitment to producing high quality Australian products, using Australian resources and employees. Consumers understand that when they buy Australian they are not only creating and maintaining Australian jobs, but they are also getting better products and better service. The logo we proudly display signifies products that Australians and consumers around the globe can buy with pride and confidence.

100% Recycled

One of the major problems caused by today's high living standards is the generation of waste. Plastic waste is a significant contributor to this problem and the high volumes and long life span of this material are causing real problems with disposal. The recovered plastic used in our products is manufactured from non-renewable fossil fuel resources, so maximizing our recycling efforts multiplies our resource efficiencies and minimizes environmental damage. Polyslab supply products manufactured from 100% recycled material from the domestic and commercial waste stream, which causes 80% less production of green house then that of using virgin material. With our market share continual increasing, the environment is being helped two fold by ensuring the environmentally hazardous production of concrete is continually being reduced.

Some interesting facts:

A report concluded that the use of recycled plastic rather then virgin plastic resulted in the following environmental benefits:

  • reduction of energy consumption by two-thirds
  • production of only a third of the sulphur dioxide and half of the nitrous oxide
  • reduction of water usage by nearly 90%
  • reduction of carbon dioxide generation by two-and-a-half times

A different study concluded that 1.8 tonnes of oil are saved for every tonne of recycled polythene produced.
